Incona and Russian Export Center held a business forum for Russian companies in UAE

Incona company and Russian Export Center organized a Business Forum for Russian companies in UAE. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry supported the forum on the part of UAE.

The Forum, which took place on the 26-27 of November 2017 in Abu Dhabi, included sessions of b2b-meetings of Russian companies with representatives of the Emirati business. There also was an exhibition of Russian companies demonstrating their goods and services. The Forum was held on the sidelines of the 7-th Session of the Intergovernmental Russian – Emirati Commission on Trade Economic and Technical Cooperation. Part of the Russian companies which participated the Intergovernmental Commission session also took part in the Business-Forum.

The complimentary speeches were made by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov (the chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission session), the Minister of Economy of the UAE Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, CEO of the Russian Export Center Petr Fradkov.

29 Russian companies participated the Forum and 90 Emirati private and government companies and institutions held meetings with them. The total number of the Forum participants exceeded 260 persons. Each of the Russian companies held about four meetings with Emirati business representatives. A number of Russian companies reached practical agreements on the products’ and services’ promotion in the UAE and the Gulf countries’ markets with the Emirati participants. At the close of the event, Incona company, the host of the Forum, organized further meetings for Russian companies in the offices of their potential Emirati partners.
