Incona organised an online-conference on doing business with the UAE partners during the quarantine

Incona company and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an online conference “Doing business with the UAE partners during the quarantine”.

The event took place on April 27. The conference was attended by almost 100 Russian companies from different sectors of the economy. During the conference speakers discussed several issues, including current aspects of doing business in the UAE under the restrictions caused by COVID-19 pandemic.

Suren Vardanyan, Vice president of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry started the conference with an opening speech. He unveiled the measures that Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry has implemented to support entrepreneurs during this challenging period.

Alexey Busev, the Director General of Incona and Chairman of the Russia – UAE Committee of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry highlighted that despite the pandemic the majority of Russian and Emirati companies continue their activities. Russian companies are ready to collaborate with Emirati partners.

The conference was participated by Mr. Faisal Jassem, JAFZA representative. He shared his opinion about the most promising areas of doing business in the UAE during the pandemic and presented the opportunities of JAFZA freezone for Russian companies.

The participants also discussed legal and financial aspects of doing business in the UAE and tools of governmental support for the exporters during the current restrictions.

The participants emphasized that the event was highly informative and helpful for developing the appropriate strategy of further work during the quarantine period.
