The first DMCC webinar for Russian companies

On February 3, over 190 representatives of the Russian business communities took part in the open webinar “How to do business in the UAE? Opportunities for Russian Companies in Dubai and Beyond”. The event was arranged by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), Moscow Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Incona.

The speakers discussed the practical aspects of doing business in Dubai, the advantages of its tax policies and the opportunities for Russian companies to enter the UAE market. The most important part of the event was the presentation of the DMCC Free Economic Zone, the world’s fastest-growing Free Zone and centre of global commodities trading.

Chairman of Russia—UAE Committee of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce & Industry and general director of Incona Alexei Busev reported on the practical issues of interaction with partners from the UAE. “There are differences in Russian and Arabic ways of doing business. In many things we are actually closer than Europeans, but we still different in some moments, and we need to be aware of that, we need to find the right approach”, said Alexei.
