The Incona company has operated the business mission of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to Russia
On the 3-6 September 2019 the INCONA company operated the Business Mission of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sharjah Exports Development Center to Russia. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry H.E. Abdulla Sultan Al Owais and the First Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry H.E Shaikh Majid Faisal Al Qasemi. Within the framework of the Business Mission Russia was visited by a number of leading manufacturing companies of Sharjah including HotPack Packaging Industries, Newlong Industrial FZC, MAS Paints and others. The visit of the Sharjah delegation captured the interest of Russian trading companies and business media.
The events of the Business Mission included two conferences dedicated to the opportunities of cooperation between the companies of Russia and Sharjah, a number of round table discussions and meetings with Russian authorities and businessmen interested in partnership with Sharjah companies.
The business events were attended by the representatives of over 130 Russian companies from different fields including Packaging & Stationery, Industrial Equipment, Scrap Metals Trading, Household Appliances, Transport & Logistics and others.
The delegation met with the executives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Moscow CCI, the St. Petersburg CCI, the Business Russia Organization, the St. Petersburg Unified Entrepreneurship Center and other authorities and organizations in charge for international business partnership.
Within the Business Mission there was signed a cooperation agreement between the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Business Russia Organization, the visit also resulted in the establishment of a number of promising business contacts between the companies of Russia and Sharjah.
The participants of the Business Mission also enjoyed a busy cultural programme and visited the historic sites of St. Petersburg and Moscow.
