The Incona company operated the Oman Business Week in Russia

On the 22-27 of December 2019 the INCONA company was honored to organize the Oman Business Week in Russia. Within the Business Week Russia was visited by the heads of the Omani Investment and Export Development Agency – Ithraa, the Oman Infrastructure Fund – Rakiza, the State General Reserve Fund – SGRF, the Omani logistics group – ASYAD, Oman Aviation Group, Bank Dhofar and Duqm Special Economic Zone. The delegation was headed by the CEO of Ithraa Mr. Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi.

On the 24 of December there was held a conference «Business Opportunities for Russian Companies in Oman», the event took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. At the conference the Omani party informed the Russian participants about the current business environment and practical opportunities of doing business in Oman. After the conference there was held a number of B2B meetings between the companies of Oman and Russia.

Within the Business Week the Omani delegation held meetings with the Russian state authorities and Business development agencies: Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Government of Saint Petersburg, Moscow Government, Saint Petersburg CCI, Moscow CCI, Russian Export Center.

The Oman Business Week in Russia was essential to the informing Russian companies about their business opportunities in the Middle East region and networking with the companies of Oman.  After the Business Mission a number of Russian companies expressed their substantive interest to cooperation with the companies of the Sultanate of Oman.
